Technology by itself in isolation does not have the same effect because it can become passive. However, technology used in education as an instructional tool that drives discussion, provides access, promotes creativity, supports collaboration and cultivates an ownership of learning can be a powerful resource in any learning experience.
We know this as educators- that is why when I get the opportunity to work with amazing teachers and leaders around the world using digital tools – they say, โshow me – donโt tell meโ. That is the purpose of this site. To discuss, demonstrate, and to inspire a change in practice using technology as an intentional element to increase learning outcomes for all members in a learning community, large or small. Stay tuned for more resources, materials, and a new exciting podcast coming soon!
Learning should be โvisibleโ for both educators and students ๐ #StraightUpEDU.
