Prior to her role at Microsoft, Geri Gillespy, Ed.D. was the Administrator of Digital Integration for a large district in the Pacific Northwest. Her Digital Integration team supported the implementation, training, and evaluation of technology integration throughout the district. Geri has been in education for 27 years as a teacher, academic coach, building principal, district administrator, and adjunct professor working with future educators and leaders.
Geri was a Sr. Industry Executive at Microsoft as a strategic advisor for leaders and educators developing systems for adopting and implementing technology application. Other responsibilities included leading the professional development strategy for the EDU Experience Engineering team and managing the US Training Partner Program.
Geri was a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Fellow and trainer. She was awarded the ISTE Make it Happen award for Leadership in Educational Technology by NCCE. She earned her Ed.D. in Executive Leadership in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on systematic integration of technology in education.
